Overview:
You will shop on the Teachers' School Supply site to assemble an order.  You will submit it with the designation 'Pay by Check,' but you will not actually send them a check.  That is just to get your request into their system.  You will then notify us, and we will pay.  Please follow these easy directions.

Please note that our account does not allow us to purchase technology from Teachers' School Supply.  
1.   Go to ClassWish.org to get your Account Balance and ClassWish ID#
  • Log into http://ClassWish.org.  Click “My Account” in the upper right corner of any page other than the home page.  The third tab, “Donations Received and Requests Placed,” shows your balance.
  • If you want more supplies than your balance allows, you can make a tax-deductible contribution to your own wish list before or immediately after you shop.
  • Please make note of your ClassWish account number, which appears within the URL of your wish list page.
2.   Select the school supplies you need
  • When you have donation funds to use (or are about to add your own funds), go to http://www.teacherssupply.com/.  (To see other vendors for other categories, please go to the home page of this ClassWish-vendors site).
  • Shop like you normally would; simply add items to your cart on that website.  Please note we cannot order tech items.
  • Shop as a 'Guest.'
  • Click "Buy Now" to proceed to checkout.
Teachers School Supply has redesigned their checkout pages, so some of the images here may not  be current. We will update them as soon as possible. However, the description of the process should work fine.


3. Billing and Shipping Page 
Provide the information for this page
  • Tax Exempt ID: Skip this
  • Coupon code: Skip this.  Coupons cannot be added to orders we place.
  • Shipping Address: Provide the school name where they ask for 'Company Name' and the school address.  We cannot ship to your home.  
  • Email: Please enter the same email address as you used to register with ClassWish.org.
  • Phone:  Provide the school phone # in case of delivery problems.
  • Check the "Billing Address is the same as Shipping Address" box for simplicity. You will not pay for the items; we will. 
4. Payment Page
(You will submit your request to Teachers' School Supply, but you will not pay)
  • Verify the items in the shopping cart and the shipping address of your school.
  • In the Select Payment section, click the "Check" tab as noted in the image to the right.
  • In the "Name" field please enter ClassWish + your last name + your ClassWish ID. (Your ID# is the number within the URL of your Wish List page). So it might look like ClassWish - Washington 123456.
  • In the "Check Number" line please enter 999999.
  • This combination of name and number will signal to Teachers School Supply that ClassWish we will pay for this.
  • Click the big  "Checkout" button.
  • The next screen will say that your order has been placed and will promise to send you an email.  When you receive that email, please forward it to [email protected] 
  • Be sure to proceed to the next step!

5.  Notify ClassWish

Download this Request Form; complete as instructed; and email it to the email address provided there.
6. Forward that email to us

Did you receive the confirmation email from Teacher School Supply?  Please forward it to us at: [email protected]
7. Add money to your ClassWish account if needed

If the total amount of your request for materials exceeds your ClassWish balance:
  • Please visit your ClassWish wish list page and make a tax-deductible donation to cover the shortfall.  
  • Be sure to gross up the amount of the shortfall to cover the credit card fee of 2.2% and 30 cents.  Need help with the math?  See this easy downloadable calculator.
Remember, many companies match employees' donations.  Be sure to apply if you or your spouse is eligible.
8.  What Happens Next 
  • Teachers' School Supply will contact us with your request.
  • So long as you have enough funds in your ClassWish account, we will deduct the order amount; pay Teachers' School Supply; and send you a confirmation.
  • Teacher' School Supply will ship the materials to you at your school.  
  • You and your students will get the resources you need.
How to attract more donations

People want to help kids.  All you have to do is let them know your wish list exists.  Use the social media buttons on your page to share via Facebook and Twitter; link to it from your blog; email it to friends; and see the link on your wish list page to more tips.
